'I & I' Exhibition

The exhibition I & I at Erasmus Huis is the follow-up of a first collaboration between Su Tomesen, a Dutch visual artist, and Teguh Hartanto, an Indonesian screen printer and painter. A digital photograph taken by Su is the basis for mixed media work on canvas by Teguh. 

For the exhibition in Erasmus Huis the artists focused on mixed race and multi ethnic couples living in Indonesia. Multi-ethnicity is part of the concept of the country, supporting tolerance and unity. Besides the portraits displayed in the exhibition, you can see the working process documented in video.
